It’s a semi-succulent perennial Lamiaceae plant with a spicy oregano-like flavour and odour. Coleus amboinicus’s origin is uncertain. However, it is thought to be native to Africa and maybe India. Coleus amboinicus is a member of the Lamiaceae mint family that grows up to 1 m (3.3 ft) tall. The stem is fleshy, measuring 30–90 cm (12–35 in), and is covered with either long, inflexible hairs (hispid villous) or soft, short, and upright hairs.
The stems of old trees are smooth. You can order this plant in online plant delivery.
